Christopher M. Allport
Tenor

Growing up in the spotlight of Hollywood, Christopher M. Allport been performing in major stage venues, television and feature films since the age of seven.  Christopher’s Cabaret Collective is made up of some of the finest musicians in the city, of whom he is proud to share with local audiences.

As a featured or headlining vocalist, Christopher’s credits include the Disney American Teacher Awards (Pantages Theater), The People’s Choice Awards (Paramount Studios), Barbra Streisand’s Timeless (Staples Center Los Angeles), Pasadena Symphony’s Romeo and Juliet (Pasadena Civic Auditorium), Los Angeles Philharmonic’s production of Wellington’s Victory March (Hollwood Bowl).

This summer, Christopher will star in a review of Phantom of the Opera, at Teatro San Gallo in Venice, Italy.

He has sung on such film soundtracks as Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Mr. Holland’s Opus, The Mighty Ducks  and Steven Spielberg’s epic Hook.  He has also been the character voice of Casper the Friendly Ghost, Tootles the Lost Boy (Peter Pan & the Pirates) as well as one of the voices of Binx the Cat in Disney’s Hocus Pocus.

Christopher’s performances have been well received on three continents: America, Africa and Europe.  He premiered the Ubi Caritas of renowned chorale composer Morten Lauridsen.  As an actor, Christopher lit up the stage once again in New York City, starring as dashing, bohemian Prince Florizel in Shakespeare’s Winter’s Tale.

Recently Christopher recorded a new musical entitled House of Finnigan, by Steve Kopandy, Bonnie Janofsky & Bill Rich.  He will also be performing Verdi’s Requim and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Los Robles Master Chorale this summer.

When Chris isn’t singing, he loves spending time with his most supportive parents and grandparents and enjoys restoring antique cars.
